Reigate Caves
Under the Centre of Reigate is a network of Caves -
the remains of mining the sand which comprised the hill.
Certain of these are occasionally
open to visitors. Entrance in the Tunnel or the Barons Cave.
Here are some images taken when they were being prepared for opening.
It is also possible to tour others and there are some additional pictures
of these other less accessible
